Do not mention this name again unless you want to be browbeaten by a certain board memeber & make his or her ****list. I have been on it for it seems an eternity. Send me a private message as to your thoughts on the show. Post them here & the party in question will have apoplexy & hound you into eternity.I speak from experience.

Mine was Thoroughly Modern Millie! It still has a special place in my heart.
Mine was Cats. I was about 8 or 9 years old, and I was sitting in the first row of the mezz and the Cats' glowing eyes scared the crap out of me, but other than that I was pretty ammused by the entire show. lol
Les Miserables in the Spring of 1988 when the show was still fresh. I was a senior in high school and my parents flew me out to NYC for 24 hours to see the show as a graduation present. I was obsessed with the show at the time.

The first musical I saw was Miss Saigon in 1992 or 1993 and the first broadway play I saw was Laughter on the 23rd floor same year.
Mine was Aida...taught me my first important Broadway lesson. Always pee before the show. lol I couldn't end of the first act cuz all i was thinking about was bolting to the bathroom at intermission. Anyway besides that I was dissapointed in Aida but have seen many amazing shows since that have made up for the lack of magic:P

Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk. I went with my all-girls Catholic high school because one of the nuns brothers was the stage manager. Quite an experience!
Well, Les Mis was my first musical. I was six or seven and obsessed with Les Mis. I watched my tape of the Tenth Anniversary Concert every day.
But the first musical I ever saw on Broadway was Cats.
I'm young so I have only seen a couple of shows. The first one though was 42nd Street this summer in early July. It was me, my parents, my 2 brothers and their girlfriends and half my dance company. We were in the city for Danceamerica Nationals and my dance teacher got us tickets so we went and I loved it! :)

"Li'l Abner" in 1957. I was 15.
Fosse...this is really ironic....but I fell asleep...I was 9, and I had been traveling all day, so I suppose its ok. The next day I saw Cabaret with Alan Cumming. What an experience...
I saw my first show on Broadway when I was 5. It was Gypsy (with Tyne Daly). My 31st show on Broadway was the most recent revival of Gypsy (with Bernadette).

FALSETTOS was NOT my first B'way show. I disliked that entire series immensely.
