I think if someone famous can handle the singing and acting then why not cast them?? otherwise i think unkowns would be best.

Heard Raul Esparza singing "Defying Gravity". Was pretty good!

I'm not going to lie, that is actually my favorite version of the song, and I'm not even a big Raul fangirl. I've just never liked that song for a female voice. Too shrill and shrieky.

James Lipton? As in James "Scrumtrulescent" Lipton? Oh joy! Finally the world gets to see him in the role he was born to play, a crappy supporting role in a mediocre Stephen Schwartz musical.
