And a note to Michael Riedel- re: Your NY2 comments last night. I felt many were rather rude and tacky. When talking to and about people in person, be a little classier please.
Great job to Greg Reuter, who subbed in for Steve Rosen! Loved Stacie Morgan Lewis' Popular rendition as well.
The audience was packed and very participatory. Lots of bway actors in attendance, nice to see them supporting their friends.

It was a very funny show, however I do wish they would have kept the show downtown where it had a much cheaper ticket price not to mention that insanely high 2 drink minimum.

I am going tonight, excited to see Will Chase, Jordan Gelber, Nicole Parker, and Lisa Jolley again, as well as the regular crew! I don't know who Paul Vogt is (Bones or House or something on tv?) but I love seeing new people perform.

The special guests (Paul Vogt and Nicole Parker) were hysterical, especially her "defying gravity" scene and his CANDY! poetry slam.
The musical "Captain Crunch's Seamen" was one of the best musical NY2 segments I have seen.
Will Chase sang a madlibs version of Imagine from Lennon.

Does anyone know if and when they are going to announce the cast/guests for the upcoming shows?

Replay is my absolute favorite sketch and last night was one of the funniest I've seen. A scene set in a jacuzzi and replayed in the styles of porn, star wars and cartoon.
What I love most about the show is that you can see it over and over and its always entertaining because its never the same. Different casts, different sketches, and of course different audience suggestions.

I also chimed in with the idea "The Monkeys Attack" for NY2. I loved how they put it on stage. I also loved how Nicole got her revenge on the monkeys (who overthrew the humans with a Macintosh computer) by "sending them a PC virus". I liked how everyone chanted "Send, Send, SEND SEND!". That was absolutely freaky how they got all that down so fast. And it really made me hoot when Jordan Gelber lifted Nicole Parker up by her legs and they did the whole defying gravity moment. That was hilarious.
Those were my two favorites of my "ideas" being brought to life.
"Someday we'll all fornicate together
And the world will live as three!"
That was last line of musical madlibs. I will never forget it.

Last night's show was great, "MacGyver the Musical" was quite entertaining! And then he came back later in "I Have Herpes!" (we really need to work on some of these titles).
Nancy Opel's "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina" madlib was awesome. And I want to give props to David Rossmer, who makes the giving of the words extremely entertaining every show.
Bruce Vilanch was a bit of a wild cannon with his celebrity press conference (he was Carol Channing in The Color Purple), I don't think he understood the game very well. But his backstage stories about the Oscars and things that never made it on the air were very funny.
Replay at a Six Flags as an Animal Planet documentary, Film Noir, and musical, Harry Potter's Eulogy, If We Ran Broadway, Amanda Green (from High Fidelity) sang a song she wrote, trying to remember what else was done. Favorite performer of the night goes to Jason Kravitz for his NY2 musical improv skills. Can we get cast recordings to some of these shows they make up on the spot? They are really good!
