re: batboy the movie musical

It was announced from the stage at the 100th performance of Bat Boy in London last year. Although I know that imdb isn't always reliable, here's hoping Devon May has been cast as stated...

Bat Boy is SO amazing, and obviously so is Devon May. I'm very psyched up for this movie already.

Been on IMDb for a long while now (as well as my website, which I am about to shamelessly plug: http://www.MovieMusicals.net).

Screenplay is supposedly finished. Waiting on casting and studio greenlight.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

john landis is an inspired choice for the film. He has just the right balance between horror and camp.

yay! I love it!
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

Well, I am extremely excited about this, but I wonder what the general public will think of this?
"Jaime's convienced that the problems are mine. Jaime is probably doing just fine. And I'm still hurting."
