This season I've decided to buy the physical CDs instead of just the iTunes like I did last year, because I miss having the actual disc and booklets. I don't like how the physical CDs come out weeks after the digital versions though.

I believe Gigi announced that the cast recording is available for pre-order. I believe it comes on 5/26 or 5/29.

At the theater, Gigi was to be available 6/16 or 6/17. Gigi may be gone by than. Sadly, still no word re Dr Z

I know there was an announcement for Gigi but has anyone heard anything else? I've heard Doctor Zhivago will record. That just leaves It Shoulda Been You. Does anyone think they will record?  Personally I'd rather Zhivago record than Shoulda but that's just me

Dr Z is now an unsubstantiated rumor. The only reason ISHBY would record is if planned to tour. No word on a tour so doubt they will record it until a tour decision is or is not made.

Got my copy of Nevermore yesterday. Very well done. A 2 cd set and it is pretty much the entire show. The show had an eerie echoy sound which was cool live. The recording pulls back on that so the lyrics are really clear. 2 songs that were cut during its NYC run are included on the disc. Also the packaging is nice. Each section is fully explained and at the end, track by track, there is a list of poems used for lyrics to each song. That I really like as it was not in the Playbill and I wondered which poems were used.

I attended the release party and they said a companion cd is planned for the fall which will include the instrumental walk in music, which I can't wait for, along with remixes of a few of the songs.

Not sure. I don't use spotify. I have google music unlimited and it is not there yet. It is on Amazon.

According to Amazon, The Visit's release date has been pushed back a couple weeks to July 10th. Bummer...

Oh my god why!!! It's been the worst waiting for it already, and I preordered it like 2 months ago. I was so thrilled for it to finally be released next week. I don't understand. I checked broadwayrecords.com and it says the same thing about July 10th.

Ugh this really stinks, as this is the cast recording I've been looking forward to the most! I've been able to listen to the four-track sampler and it's help me over thus far, but the extra two week wait makes me sad.

Like I did with the Side Show recording, I'll probably buy the digital from Broadway Records, then eventually buy the hard copy from them, as well.

I downloaded the John and Jen recording tonight and Kate Baldwin is just perfection. She needs to be on broadway more. Maybe the Baker's Wife in the next ITW's revival?

Where did you find the OBC of "Finding Neverland" on Amazon? The only recording I could find was the one with JLo, John Legend, etc?

NEVERMORE just released SIMPLY MUSIC. The first half of the cd are "the singles". The second half, what I have been patiently waiting for, are the instrumental track for the songs which were used as the show's walk in music. It is available at Broadway music and on iTunes/apple music. Litening to it now and am a happy camper!

How many Nevermore cds are there now? Like 4 or 5?

Taz, I would suggest getting the original cast recording which is pretty much the whole show, and I think includes one or two songs taken out of the show for the New York run,  and this recent one for the instrumentals. The ones in between, I think there are 2,  are dance remix  cds of 2 of the songs in the show.
