is getting a divorce. it was just announced on the insider show, apparently her husband was going to the show she is performing at and asking cast members if she was seeing someone else a few days later he announced he wanted a divorce from her...

I just read this too - really shocking to me! I guess I should learn my lesson; Hollywood never surprises. I hope she is doing well, and Johnathon too.

They announced that part on TV? Seriously? How completely inappropriate.

That's shocking! I do hope her commitment to broadway isn't to blame for this. It could easily have put a strain on their marriage. I hope they're both doing ok.

Just saw it on the Insider.

I don't like how they are publicizing the fact that she may have been cheating.

But I wonder just how TRUE that is?

That part is all rumor, but the divorce is very true. I wonder if this is why she was out of CHARITY quite a few times last week.

Johnathon has been TOTALLY supportive of her Broadway run (he had more nerves about her succeeding, with the injury possibly interfering, than even she herself had!)...he has been down south filming a new movie during much of her run...but having spoken with him recently, frankly, I am shocked that this is happening.

You know, I have to comment on this whole current trend with the celebrity divorces ... namely Brad and Jennifer, Jessica and Nick, and now Christina and Jonathan ... I think Tina Fey said it best on SNL when she said, "If these people have grown tired of having sex with each other, what hope does that leave for the rest of us?!?"
