just wondering: if I delete my account, will all my threads be deleted? I have a thread I'd like to delete and haven't heard a response... thanks.

If you delete your account all of your posts will disappear -- not the entire thread.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

You can just go back and edit your posts to delete text. Although I'm not sure why you'd even bother at this point, as it doesn't appear you've said anything remotely offensive judging by your profile. The mods don't usually respond, and I haven't seen them delete anything unless deemed offensive or it is spam or a duplicate post.

In theory, you should see an "edit this message" option in any message you've already posted, but I know there's a glitch that prevents some users from having that option.

I didn't think we could delete our own accounts. I thought you had to get a mod to do that.

I think you are right, Phyl. I'm assuming Theatrical has requested that to happen.

Theatrical: if you can't even find the thread, why worry? (and did you try a search on your Username in the search field?)

Was the thread about? Do you remember who else posted in it? I find that if I can remember a few key words along with a few posters who were in the thread, I can usually find any thread I'm looking for via Google. Just remember to put quotes around exact phrases and use +broadwayworld as one of the search terms.

I found the thread; I meant I couldn't find a solution to my problem. I posted a thread about a musical I did some things with and we've changed the
Name to prevent copyright problems but the old name remains on the thread. Just taking precautions.

There should be a link to edit your message on each post you write. In terms of the name you used on the thread, I think you'd be fine since this isn't really in your control. If you are having issues deleting/editing and are concerned, I would reply on the thread with the updated name as a disclaimer...? Hope that helps!
