This was one of those "so bad it's enjoyable" shows. I mean...where else can you see something called "The Gas Mask Waltz" onstage?
The only real redeeming factor of this mess was the fantastic Alli Mauzey.

No respect lost, Gator...like what you like -- even if that's Crybaby!!!
For me it's more not understanding the missing. Theater by nature IS transient. Part of it's beauty is that it's a moment in time (or many moments) shared between audience and cast. I will always have my thoughts and memories of shows and can look forward to a possible revival. But I just " miss" shows. There is always something new to experience.

When I lived in DC, I would read about shows, get psyched to come to NY, then make a trip up to experience the show live. Living here, Theater is one of the only positive things about moving from DC. So, when I find something like a show that can take me away from the stress of my job and the stress of how expensive it is, I take every chance I can to take advantage of the show. It's the same as if N2N were to close, I would miss the Goodmans. I like knowing that if I need to feel uplifted (like this summer, when I had the unexpected loss of a pet)...I go to the show and can count on being happy, sad, hopeful, etc. It's only possible for me with the shows that are available at a discount...I wouldn't miss Billy Elliot or Wicked if they left, because I can't afford to pop in and see those shows whenever I need a theatrical fix.
