My name's Gil; I run the BroadwayAbridged site and I just want to thank you all for the comments. You've really inspired me to renew my domain name. Oh, the $7.95 a year I reliquish to make the masses happy...
By the way, yes, I'd love to do a Urinetown or AvenueQ abridged but these things are hard to write so long after you've seen the show. If I see AvenueQ again I'll abridge it too, although I agree with Plum in that it'll be harder because it's so self-mocking anyway.
I really appreciate the positive response. Keep spreading the word and I'll keep updating as I see new shows.

I'll have to see it again first. I find it really hard to write these when I haven't "just seen" it. The sheer bitchiness of the reviews really only works well when I just sat in a theatre for two hours. I'm planning on doing a Rent Lottery in mid October sometime. It's so ripe for parody now, especially when it's on it's billionth cast.
There're a bunch I'd love to do if they were still open. "Miss Saigon", "Les Mis". I could probably do "Phantom" without having to see it again considering the entire thing's sung through and I have the CD. I suppose the same goes for Les Mis and Phantom too, now that I think about it.
"Brooklyn" is probably my next (I have tickets later this month).

Wicked was brilliant.
What about Peter Pan? That is a new revival with an aging star. Sounds like a lot of potential to me.
