It isn't? That's news to me. I've read of numerous instances of cast members from various shows dating. It may not be the wisest decision. But that's your private life. How is anybody gonna stop it?

Inter-cast dating, whether it's allowed or not, is unprofessional. Wait until the show closes or one of you leaves. Too much emotion goes into relationships to keep it outside of the theatre.

Over the Moon, when it is your job and these are the people you see every day I believe restrictions like that are a bit silly. What would be unproffessional would be to let a relationship effect your performance. Adult people's privat lives are their own business.

Wow, Over the Moon. A professional or even just a good actor leaves the personal life at the door. I met my husband on stage and we have performed together several times since - sometimes opposite each other and sometimes in roles that have required us to have onstage "love affairs" with other actors right in front of each other.

People always ask me if it bothers me when he kisses another woman onstage. While I don't love seeing it, it doesn't bother me because I know that even when I kiss him onstage - it's entirely different than in our personal life. It's relevant to who those characters are at the time, not me and my hubby makin out in public.

I'm sure two professional actors like Norbert and Michelle were just fine. Yea for them!

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I think Norbert is in his mid thirties and Michelle I believe is in her early thrities. Not much of an age difference really. I know his ex-wife is named Sydney and someone on a board I frequent once had a funny imaginary conversation:

"Who was your ex-husband? 'Norbert Leo Butz' "No, seriously?" 'I am being serious...'

Also had another funny jewel in the same post: "Poor lady. All she got was the last name 'Butz" out of the deal..."

In all serious, they divorced during Wicked? Hmm....that is interesting. Norbert, where you fooling around with your costar? I would have assumed his wife would have gotten more upset during the Last 5 Years run. You should see how he kissed Sherie!
