Those are some bold predictions. I think Billy Elliot will win more than you predict. Only 6 wins out of 15 nominations? Billy's sweep will be bigger than that, at least eight or so if not a clean sweep.
~Steven
I think it would be so cool for the Billy Elliot boys to win!
They would be the first of the "wacky" Tony Award nominees to win right?
By "wacky" I am refering to all "The Sound of Music" kids being nominated under a single nomination and Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner sharing a single nomination. Are there more?
I don't think the Billy sweep will be nearly as big as some people do.
6 wins seems about right.

Damiano over Olivo and Gwynne? Never gonna happen.
Its between Hadyn and Karen, my guess it goes to Karen.
Are you serious about your predictions for Featured Actress? Karen or Hadyn will take it. Damiano hasn't got a shot in hell.
They need to give more than just Billy some Tonys. Respect the other good shows too.
Sadly, as we've seen in previous years, the Tonys don't need to do anything. The voters do whatever they damn well please...which this year will involve BILLY ELLIOT sweeping.
It just isn't going to be interesting if they take every single award. And in my opinion, they don't deserve to sweep. They deserve to get some. However, I think 9 to 5 should win Best Score.
I agree, CS, but when was the last time the Tonys were interesting? Haha. They're always very predictable and this year will be no different.
HAIR and BILLY will get the most awards of the evening, which truly doesn't bother me very much at all. Both fantastic productions.

BILLY will not sweep, sorry to burst your bubble Rocks.
6 to 9 awards. no more, no less.
out of the 13 wins that BILLY could potentially get, I hope it wins at least 10.

To be honest, I would WANT every show to win equally for certain things (Like Shrek for costume, 9 to 5 for set (In my opinion, the biggest upset this year), title of show for book), but I think this is what it will probably come down to.

DCR have you seen N2N?
You seem to be throwing it aside all the time.
I Think Damiano has an ok chance if Karen wasn't in the runnings I would be rooting for her. But unfortunately for Damiano Karen has it. Karen winning BFA and N2N winning for Best Musical are the only 2 things I really care about this season. Nothing this season was (for me) as good as In The Heights. (Though all I've seen this season was N2N, BE, and WSS)
