What an enjoyable romp! All of the players were exceptional, with Miss Lansbury and Miss Ebersole being particular standouts as expected. The direction was crisp and well paced. The set was lovely, the costumes were lovely, the lighting was effective. Miss Ebersole's musical interludes between scenes were wonderful and yes, should be released on CD! I would recommend you get to the Shubert Theatre as soon as possible to catch this delightful romp. I smell Tony Awards...
I want to see this so bad
I was there too and loved it. Where were you sitting?
I was at this performance too. I really enjoyed it! Angela Lansbury was wonderful!

I'm seeing next Saturday -- am really heartened by all the good word-of-mouth it's getting. The world NEEDS a play like this right now!!!!!!

I have a different take on the show. I thought it needed a lot of refining. The comic timing isn't there yet, and I thought that Angela Landsbury was miscast as Madame Arcati. I somehow kept envisioning Maggie Smith in it.
I know it's in previews but I felt as though everyone was flubbing their lines. It is a very wordy play, being Noel Coward and all, but there definitely was a lot of mumbling of dialogue on stage from the 4 leads.
Oh come on, cut Lansbury some slack. She's a legend. She's won 4 Tonys, and this may be her last time on the stage.
Still any problems with Lansbury's projection/mic?
Barely. Only towards the end of the Act II I thought.
Is there student rush available yet?
Two hours before curtain. $26.50 cash. Two tickets per ID. Best available seats (most people on here have gotten center Orchestra.)

This is certainly one I'd love to see!
I'm sure things will "tighten up" by opening. There's so much talent on board.
