if you order the soundtrack from amazon...you get to listen to clips of all the songs! and the title song full! same with music of the night! actually, i think all of them are full!!!!

Yes, you have to buy it first. If you "pre-order" the CD and then go through the checkout process, you will get a "digital locker." Look carefully in the upper-right-hand corner. Open the "locker" and the download will be in there. It's a streaming audio file of the entire CD. I'm listening to it right now. One question has been answered: They did NOT hire Gerard Butler because of his singing--it is adequate at best and clearly assisted GREATLY with studio magic. IMHO, a real disappointment.

Just got through listening to "Prima Donna" which sounds gorgeous. This is a number where Minnie Driver's singing must be dubbed.

Can't decide what I think about "All I Ask Of You." Patrick seems to hold back vocally. Sometimes it sounds nice and seductive, slight and breathy at other times. Emily sounds good.

ok i ordered it and im listening to it. here's my dielema. I wanted to have this item the day it came out. I was planning to go to the store at midnight monday night etc. Will amazon ship this so it arrives on the day of release or not ship untill the day of release?

Emmy sounds nice. Strangely breathy sometimes. Wow I love way Patrick does, "Can it be, can it be Christine." She sounds amateur sometimes and unsure but that may be fine. Her adlib at the end of THINK OF ME is completely original and not a copy of Sarah Brightman's.

It may just take some getting used to, but Emmy is not strong at all. It sounds like she is straining to hit those high notes. Oh God. I am getting scared, people. Everyone sounds airy and like they are singing at a Karaoke bar. Oh God.

Yeah, the title song sounds like the orignal single that Sarah Brightman did with Steve Harley(or was it Cliff Richard?) That is an awsome music video and I hope the movie is the same way.

Their voices don't blend well at the end of All I Ask of You.

He's not "awful" just doesn't sound that great. Moments of his singing is pretty good. I am just saying, is he the best? In fact, was Emmy the best? Jeez.

Yeah he sounds good when he's not loud.

Ok I just heard his loud "long to BEEEE!!!!" That was unfortunate sounding.

But now he sounds good again that he's quite.

Could this be why his song "No one would listen" was cut and made into the Minnie Driver song?

I do have to say I like the way Emmy is not singing it "opera" like as much as Sarah Brightman. It sounds much more like a normal musical thetare voice. I keep reminding people that this is not an opera score and the only person who should sing operatically is Carolotta and Christine sometimes.
