I don't thihnk he is aweful at all. His rendition of the AIAOY reprise is gorgeous, he brought tears to my eyes and chills throughout my body. SO amazing. You can hear his heart breaking in his voice. I love what he's did with the role, its very original. Since he didn't have a classical vocal training prior to shooting, his Phantom is more raw, darker. I'm a hard core Phan, and i really appreciate his portrayal. I can tell by the emotion he gives out through his voice that he took this role very seriously, and i am very thankful as a Phan. I can't wait to see him on the big screen.

Oh and Patrick is the BEST RAOUL EVER!!!!!!!!!! I can even look past the wig :). He is amazing. I love everything about him.
I am really looking forward to seeing this film. I can't wait.

(ps everyone is entitled to their own oppinons and i respect yours, i just don't agree with them)

I know, but it is so airy and "karaoke" sounding. I mean, the ending of the songs sounds great but the rest sounds like she isn't clear on what she is doing. On the official website, it said that they kept going into the studio to fix vocals and this is what they came up with? I mean, it sounds good just not as good as I wanted it to.

They always act like Lloyd Webber has all this creative conrtol and only wanting the best singers but he's let a lot of bad singers perform his music AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SH*T!!!!!! Gerald sounds AWSOME on the end of the reprise!!!! You were right!! He sounds kind of rock-raspy breathy and it sounds awsome!!!

Ok, now I just got to the reprise and it sounds good. I agree Gerard sounds so heartbroken. Awwww. It will be ok, Phantom. My biggest problem is that the voices just aren't as strong as they could be. Gerard is actually starting to grow on me. WOW!! He just got mad. You go boy!!!! Anyway, I just started thinking that this is a man who has had so much trouble and physical and emotional pain all of his life, so his voice more than likely wouldn't be the best. But, it is supposed to be hypnotic. I don't know. When I see it on the screen, it will probably be better.

I hope whenever you want. I have not heard Masqurade but I have heard Wishing. hmm I was able to rewind so I hope we can hear it until it expires in January.

whoah here;s some dialogue at the end of PONR. Emmy can scream. I think that was her. oh wow "Down Once more" sounds good and he sounds very angry. I can tell there's going to be a LOT of contorversy about whethere Gerald is good or bad.

I think im starting to be able to tell that Emmy is not an adult by her voice. How old is Christine in the story? Seh sounds like she struggles with some low and high notes.

Yeah, he has really grown on me. I actually prefer him over, shall I say it, Michael Crawford. I don't like how they added the dialogue. You can tell it is from a movie and not recorded in the studio.
