It's a very difficult role to play. It requires a true soprano. The actress must be able to move from rough, tumble flower girl to refined lady. Chenoweth is too precious for the role.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

i think she did....melissa is awesome. she and kelly o hara would be good in the role...any of the "dracula" chicks.

She tried but she couldn't sing it. Plus she was too porcelain in the role.
