As the old saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right. If you buy the movie prior to its intended release and you know it (as everyone on this thread does) you're clearly in the wrong. It may not add up to much, but it speaks volumes about character, as does all the ganging up on Best12bars.

Keep your work life off a broadway message board, that's just sad

Definitely. I paid to see it once. I wouldn't ever do that to myself again.

I'm not taking anything personally. I'm just pointing out the self-righteousness of people who decide which rules do and not do not apply to them, as well as the reprehensible way best12bars has been talked to on this thread.

Thanks, Color and Light, but I was just making a point. Rules are rules and if people are going to flout them, that's fine, but instead of being adult about it, the knee jerk response has been to continually slag best12bars, who just explaining the way things are.

I'd love to know where this sense of entitlement on everyone's part comes from.

I may not know you from Adam but the same should be said about you. People are going to do what they're going to do and you have no place, nor the right to pass judgement on that. Those who have rented and or purchased the movie already were simply defending themselves against someone who was basically threatening THEM which is ridiculous because, once again, it is the store that is at fault, not the customer. You obviously do not see it that way. Kindly keep it to yourself.

You're really grasping at straws here if you're going to start telling people that they can't pass judgement on others on a message board. I have no problem with you bringing up past posts of mine. I posted them, they are there to be read. And I stand by them. I'm funny; I have a sense of humor. You obviously do not. Not that it matters, but Sharon Stone is a public figure--she is in the public eye and has therefore exposed herself to public scrutiny, as has everyone on this public board. I set myself up, I realize that. I'm not going to apologize for going to a store that rents stuff early. I just feel better about myself because I don't take any of this seriously. Sorry you do.
