If 9 to 5 and Shrek flop, we would have 6 hits against 17 flops of movies turned musicals since the mid 90's.
I think the trend of turning any movie into a big Broadway show could slow down, and I'm not even counting those shows that didn't make it to Broadway like Lord of the Rings.
