I much preferred Patti's performance to Victoria's.
Is it because you think Victoria is RETARTED?
No, it's because I think she's OVERRATED.
Maybe she really is RETARTED.
I doubt that, but I'd rather not go into why I preferred Patti. I'm having a good morning, and would rather not spend the rest of it ducking sharp objects for daring to say that I didn't care for Victoria's performance.
I'm teasing Muscle, not you, you know.
Oh, I'm well aware, doll.
We've always gotten along.
But I do agree about Patti over Victoria, and wanted to put my $0.02 in.
I haven't seen Patti in the role yet, I suppose I should. I just love Clark so much.
Victoria was fine, but I felt that Matthew and Kelli outshone her, whereas when I saw Patti, she was firmly in charge of the proceedings.
i totally agree, absolutely.
That she's RETARTED?
get over it, munk, anyone can have a grammatical error, stop being a child.
Don't you mean stop being RETARTED?
RETARTED and child-like are the same, no?
I've been "in love" with Patti ever since I saw her as Rosabud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Every time I listen to her sing "Moonfall" on the OBCR, I STILL get chills. Her talent is amazing. (I can't believe that's "Take One" on the OBCR. She sang it only once, and they moved on in the session. It was perfection, so why mess with it?)
Makes me want to fly to NYC to catch a Tuesday or Wednesday performance of Piazza. To see "my Rosabud" again!
well...do it! don't miss patti on tues or wed nights, if you like her, try to catch her before they close the show in july.
She's been rumored for the tour, but we'll see if that comes to be...

I've been talking with Patti and they did offer her the tour REAL quick. BUT she really does miss home (Seattle-area). She packed her bags for a few months' worth of living out here and she's now been out here for well over a year. It must be hard and a tour is a hard time. But she is so deeply in love with this show. She is really and truly torn about the tour so we'll all see!
At first, I was disappointed about seeing Patti last week. That changed about 5 minutes into the show. She was amazing.
Okay, Munk posting RETARTED 50 times is actually more annoying than Muscle's poor spelling and grammar.
I know. I was in a really obnoxious mood before.
I'm just surprised that people haven't come on here and questioned the use of the word "Retard." If someone else posted that, the P.C. police would be out in full force.
anyone can make a mistake while typing.
It's not a mistake!
It's not like you mis-spelt a word, or left out a comma (okay, you did that too) but you used an entirely offensive word. That's my point.
I saw Patti twice when she played Mother Superior in the Sound of Music (my favorite movie EVER) and she got a standing ovation prior to intermission for "Climb Ev'ry Mountain". She literally brought the house down!!!
She has an amazing voice and now I have the 'itch' to go see Piazza (the show, not the schmuck baseball player
I saw Patti when I saw the show in February. It was a Friday night so I was hoping to see Victoria. At first I was very dissapointed, then my dad told me that I saw her in my first show(The Sound of Music, I was 6), and that she had an incredible voice. Since my dad said this and he may be one of the toughest critics I know, it made me less dissapointed.
Then the show starts, and like dancingthrulife said, after 5 minutes, it was almost hard to picture anyone else in the role. Besides Patti being amazing in the role, she was also a joy to talk to at the stage door, the whole day was great.
Sorry for the rambling, I was just happy to see the thread.
