Here's wishing you a quick and full recovery, Wendy.
This is sad to hear. My prayers are with her and her family.
So I don't mean to start a hubbub but I'm concerned...
Someone posted that she died, and I'm hoping someone can deny this rumor.
If you noticed, the thread indicating that has been deleted (and rightfully so).
I did notice that. I just hope it's not true.

I posted that the thread had to be deleted. Now I hope she makes a full recovery and can thumb her nose at whoever wrote her off.
its not true...if it was then playbill,broadway.com,and broadway world would have a headline about it.
Not necessarily. Several performers deaths have been reported long after they happened.
To sort of add what Bobby says, a lot of deaths are not reported in the first 24 hours. John Raitt's death wasn't announced until almost a week after his passing. Families have to make arrangements and situations can be difficult.
That said, I certainly hope the reports about Wasserstein are false.
God what will we do if Wendy goes? Prayers are needed and I know I'm saying the rosary.
Wait - aren't you the one who told us she was gone?
Well seeing as how you are the person who reported she had died, I take it you have the power to bring her back?
God what will we do if Wendy goes?
Blame you.

Agreed, why spread false information.
But, anyhow, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Forget banning -- crucify them like in their avatar. Only a truly evil, sick and emotionally crippled individual would lie about someone's death like that. Truly a heinous and disgusting act. Banning is the LEAST of the punishments this person deserves.
This has been on my mind all day. If that person is indeed false reporting something that a lot of us on the board care deeply about, I hope they can sleep well in their warm bed tonight.

Well, it looks like isntitromantic's original thread was deleted. However, let me point out that (if I remember correctly), he/she did NOT directly say that Wasserstein had died, although the way the original post was written certainly did somewhat suggest that. But perhaps our rosary-chanting new member is guilty of nothing other than poor writing/communication skills?

I thought his/her original post stated she had passed on? Am I mistaken?
Saying things such as "Rest in Peace" and "Broadway lost one of the good ones tonight" certainly did imply that she had passed on.
