I was there on Sunday - enjoyed it very much, but found the music relatively unmemorable. Norbert was awesome - and very sweet at the stage door.

movie: I thoroughly enjoyed "Oklahoma?"...one of my favorite lines in the show was "...you can watch me blow those little f*ckers heads clean off!!" mostly because of the way Sara delivered it. And that screech was just perfect for the character.
I'd also like to add that I was crying with laughter at two points during the show (one being the entire Ruprecht scene which was inexplicably HILARIOUS and the other being during Here I Am when the bellboy stepped on the bag with the puppy...such a small little moment but I could NOT stop laughing)

Wickedrocks, I watched the evening performance of the show that same day, and I agree pretty much 100% with your review - great job writing it! The only difference for me was that there was an understudy on for the woman from Oklahoma (can't remember the character's name), but she was excellent as well.
Unfortunately, DRS was one of my parents' favorite movies, so I had seen it growing up, and because the plot follows that of the movie so closely, there weren't really any surprises for me. Of course, that's not the show's fault! And that said, I still had a wonderful time, which I think is a testament to what a great performance it was.

Oh, and a kinda funny story. As I approached the theater, which Ive passed so many times it's sickening I did this, I was staring at my tickets, daydreaming and saw a line for a show and began to get on it, without thinking, I guessed it was DRS but I looked up and realized I was on the line for Primo for about 10 min. LOL. I felt like such an a**.
