Does anyone know where to find the Royal National Theatre's A Little Night Music CD? It has Judi Dench as Desiree. Also, if you have it, what does it sound like?

I heard it via the public library. It is quite good. Judy Dench's Send in the Clowns is amazing.

It's interesting in the age of piracy and burning that almost nothing seems rare. I bought it on eBay for like, $100 USD or something, probably a bit too expensive but still cool to complete a collection.

The other interesting things are "My Husband is a Pig" and the 'mash' of the movie/stage glamorous lives.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

I downloaded it off some site a few years back and it was my introduction to ALNM, having no idea it was a rare. GORGEOUS recording. Horn solo at the end of Weekend... omg.

Is there any way to get the cd that isn't a million dollars or illegal? Are there any public libraries that anyone knows that has it?

Hands down my favourite recording of the show, with Dench's performance as close to perfect as one could expect.
