Posted: 7/5/04 at 6:58pmDining near "The Frogs" - Sushi a-Go-Go, right across the street from Lincoln Center (on Broadway); Cafe Fiorello's (Italian - excellent), and there's a Balducci's on either 66th or 67th if you want terrific take-out.

Posted: 7/5/04 at 7:20pmI've really enjoyed this thread about restaurants in NYC especially since I will be there in July. On my past visits I have enjoyed eating at Carmine's especially great with a group! I know this is sort of a tourist place but Carnegie Deli has the best onion rings in the world and my mouth is already watering for them in July. Thanks for all the tips and great places to try.

Makeup? What are you Boy George?
Not that it matters. George has great makeup.
It must melt in this weather though.
Speaking of makeup it is so hot my lipstick melted and it was 30 dollars.
I am pissed.

Caution:
The last time I dined at a restaurant that Corine2 suggested, I choked on a bone and almost died. My whole life flashed before my eyes--and it consisted of nothing more than Carol Channing performances!

Darling Corine,
I've been meaning to comment on your new icon. Is it a self-portrait?

Posted: 7/5/04 at 10:48pmI would say NOT Ellen's Stardust Diner (unless for dessert). While it can be fun I used to work there and I'm telling you the food is terrible. Try 46th street. That's restaurant row and there's a ton of cool places with any type of cusine you could want.

Try Chez Josephine's for the best dessert in the City.
On 42nd before you hit Forbidden Broadway.
They have the best white chocolate mousse in the City.
It is so rich but worth having instead of dinner.
I miss it. On a diet but eat it for me.

Hello-
Had another date tonight and had some great sushi at Haru in Times Square.
The spicy tuna roll and Rainbow roll were both out of this world.![]()
We shared two rolls and an order of Edname.
Yum.
The Shiraz was outstanding but Sly Fox was not.
