NO!!!!! Idina is way more impresive and kinder than Sara, no offense, QHDramaQueen, It's weird because my friend saw it and said she sighned some people's playbills then walked away. My friend was close to the stage door and was " fourth in line " for her autograph but i dunno? She does have a good voice though.

Posted: 6/28/05 at 4:56pmWhen I saw the show in April she came out and was extremely friendly(signed autographs, took pictures) More than what I have heard Idina has done, but who cares. And yes, Christina Appelgate probably signs and takes all the pictures because she is a washed up star that can only give a second-rate performance in a wonderful show(not the revival, the show in general)

re: sara ramierez#35
Posted: 6/28/05 at 5:51pmYes, she does, but she sings only okay and dances not as well as the back-ups.
re: sara ramierez#36
Posted: 6/28/05 at 7:37pmwell keep in mind you guys that they put their heart and soul into these performances eight times a week which is exhausting, and maybe they are far too tired to sign playbills and just want to go home and rest, really...think about it if you were in their shoes..it would be a completely different story

Performers should sign autographs, period. In a career as volatile as Broadway, they should appreciate fans and be gracious for 15 minutes after the show. It's not a lot to ask. Unless they're rushing out for a good reason, they shouldn't be so uppity. I have a lot of respect for performers who spend time taking photos and indulging their fans, and little respect for those who act like divas offstage.
And you don't get ill from handshakes. Unless someone transfers their sputum to your hand then you ingest it. Which is just stupid and gross because you shouldn't really lick/eat your hands.

2 of the 3 times I saw Spam were Wed matinees so she didn't come out
but after a Sunday matinee she came out and was very sweet. She signed everyone's playbills and took pics, the whole bada-bing. There were too many people there and I was just so happy to finally see her that I didn't ask for a pic but I got a few eh shots of her.

Posted: 6/29/05 at 1:40amI was just in the city this weekend and Sara came out twice! I was at Chitty Thursday night, and was walking by the Shubert stage door when I noticed a crowd. I had my Tony Awards playbill w/me and didn't know at that point if I was going to luck into some tickets(which I did),so I stopped and saw Sara coming out. She was very kind and gracious to everyone, signing AND taking pics! I ended up seeing the matinee on Saturday and she came out AGAIN and signed my Spamalot Playbill AND took a pic with me! She really was a class act and signed for a HUGE crowd!

Posted: 6/29/05 at 1:55amOk people that started snapping at my ass for my comment about Idina... you need to get a grip... what I meant was that there are so many usless threads on Sara as there are on Idina and she is slowly becoming the big star of the past season.. I will keep my opinons on their personalities to myself as to not wreck havoc on this board.

Posted: 7/1/05 at 9:58amI just want to say that I was there last night and she came out(to big applause) and signed and posed for pictures with everyone. I got a really nice shot with her. She was extremely nice, even waiting for people to check their cameras to make sure they liked the photo. Maybe the reason she didn't sign in the beginning is she felt she was in a show with 3 big stars and figured the people were there for them. Maybe she didn't when she was sick. To play devil's advocate, maybe someone from her PR read these boards and suggested she start signing. But she is signing on a daily basis, even matinees and could not be more pleasant.

Let's talk about the REAL important issue here -
Sara has bigger boobs that Christina and Idina COMBINED!
re: sara ramierez#45
Posted: 7/2/05 at 11:47pmI really have no problem with Actors not signing Playbills. A lot of you work, right? What would you do if you worked EVERY DAY and afterwords a hundred screaming fans wanted you to pose for pictures with them and sign autographs. I've also heard Sara's very nice; and there HAVE been times when Idina didn't sign, too. Broadway's a very demanding atmosphere. Most of you should know that.
