Yea *****SPOILERS****
Its one dress and she pulls the top half down and it becomes longer and the other side is a different color. I was sitting in the front row on the left and saw it happen.

Sounds exactly the way Effie did her quick change in the middle of "I Am Changing" on Broadway.

That sounds credible, but I know for a fact that she sticks some part of it into a pouch in the top of the umbrella (as posted before) because when I saw the show, part of the dress was sticking out the pouch when they lifted adn turned around the umbrella.
