I never had a desire to see Piazza but someone on this thread convinced me...and I actually liked it.
Caroline or Change. After the Tony performance I was convinced I would never see it. I thought it looked just TERRIBLE. Then I got dragged against my will to go...and LOVED it.
The Lion King
Miss Saigon
Hairspray. Had the backer's sampler cause my ex girlfriend's father was offered a chance to back the show, which he turned down (bet he's kickin himself now, and I was not impressed but my father wanted to see it so I went with him and loved it.
I really didn't want to see ASU at first b/c i thought it was going to be stupid and b/c i've never heard of it...and now it is my FAVORITE SHOW!! I absolutly LOVED it!

It never appealed to me until a friend made me sit down and watch the filmed production. What happened was nothing short of love.
Avenue Q- My friend convinced me, and it was funny...

The Producers - even though i'm not IN LOVE with it. I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would.
Actually, I had no interest in seeing Les Mis. I thought it would be really boring, but it's my favorite show now.

I actually had no interest in my two favorite musicals, Les Miz and The Last 5 Years. But, I started to listen to the music (and watched the Les Miz concert video), and was mesmerized.

Gav, you weren't interested in the Last 5 Years?
Ehm...I am shocked. lol
Jekyll and Hyde. I had heard about all the crap with David Hasselhoff and was less than enthused about it, but I love it!
The Boy From Oz
I went because of Hugh Jackman, but not because of the rave reviews. I went because he gave a good friend of mine an autograph BEFORE the show. It's a strange reason, but it's why.

Rent(It only took me 8 years to discover that I liked this show )and Jersey Boys which I saw last night and fell in love with. Ironically, two shows I wasn't so interested in seeing are now two of my favorites. *cough* go see Jersey Boys!!
Assassins!!
The only reason I picked up the CD in the first place was because I had just done a project on Stephen Sondheim for my English class and thought Anyone Can Whistle sounded interesting. However my Barnes and Noble didn't have the Anyone Can Whistle OCR, but I was in the A section and happened to see Assassins, and thought, 'Oh, that's a Sondheim too, isn't it?...' I listened to it a bit on the headphones and bought it on a whim (I'd just gotten paid, haha... money burning a hole in my pocket.) It's been my life ever since.

Lennon. I had no desire to see it, simply because of what I'd heard. I wanted to see a show one Wednesday afternoon, and couldn't get tickets for Fiddler, so I tried Lennon instead. I ended up loving it and seeing it two more times.
