There are a few which I cannot believe I ever disliked

Small World- Gypsy
The Man In The Moon- Mame
If You Loved Me Truly- Can-Can
The Little Things You Do Together- Company
All of Follies (I hated it for quite some time, I'm definitely obsessed with it)
I Believe In You- How to Succeed...
Den of Iniquity- Pal Joey
Everybody Loves Louis- SITPWG
One Hundred Easy Ways- Wonderful Town

Something about Sondheim, I always hear a song and go "Oh, this is gonna be the first Sondheim song that I hate" and then I love it!

Those are the ones that stick out to me most, I have a ton though.

RENT:
-Without You (until I saw it with the amazing movie montauge, I just found it kind of boring. Now its sooo heartwrenching, but gorgeous)
-Santa Fe (until seeing Jesse do it- that song NEEDS jesse l martin to make it good :P)

Last 5 Years:
-I'm Still Hurting
-See I'm Smiling
-A Part of That
(I just found them boring at first, especially compared to jamie's amazing songs at that point- but I've grown to love them for how sad they are)

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I Hated:

You're timeless to me- Hairspray
Different- Tarzan
Human Again- BatB (I still don't love it, but at least now I can tolerate it)
the entire Aida soundtrack, then I saw the show and believe it to be the BEST Disney show yet, and STILL don't understand how Tarzan is running and Aida isn't...

Aida had a healthy run. I never liked it.

ohhh, man, speaking of Aida:

Elaborate Lives!

I used to not like it much at all, and now its one of my favorites from the show. The harmonies and everyting are incredible

"Wicked Little Town" - Hedwig and the Angry Inch
"Once In Awhile" - The Rocky Horror Show
"Let's Walk" - The Light in the Piazza
"Christmas Bells" - RENT (I know, I know... blasphemy)
"Contact" - RENT (Had to see it live)
"It's De-Lovely" - Anything Goes
"I Get A Kick Out Of You" - Anything Goes

Some of these are blasphemous, I know... re: songs you hated at first but now love

When I initially bought the Spelling Bee CD before going to see it "live" I hated the I LOVE YOU SONG. Ever since I saw Howard sing the crap out of it, it's my favorite song from the cd now.

Also - Grey Gardens was very difficult for me to get through until seeing it live. I just didn't get it, but once I saw it....wow!

I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity** Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer** Xanadu - Best NEW Musical of the Season!

"I'm Not That Smart" from Spelling Bee
"Fable" from LitP as well (I was like "This is IT?" Now I'm always singing it in the shower.)
The entire score to Assassins, heh.
I wasn't that taken by The Last Five Years the first time I listened to it all the way through, but now I'm absolutely in love with it.
"If I Loved You" from Carousel (I didn't think it was worthy to be called the best Broadway love song ever, but now I think that it is)
"The Riddle Song" from Floyd Collins (I didn't quite understand it at first. I know, I know.)

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
