for me it would be:
cell block tango
the phantom theme song
schadenfreude(sp?)

Okay,
When I was in 4th grade & chorus was mantitoary fro everybody, our (pretty lame but a nice guy) music teacher made us sing "Do You Hear The People Sing" from Les Mis. And it had always been stuck in my head as one of those kind of annoying chorus songs...but it did get me to want to read the book & see it someday, but I just wasn't a big fan.

When I listen to it now that's still the 1st thing that pops in my head, but of course now I heart Les Miserables.

Same thing with "Seasons of Love" (5th grade), I still cringe a but when they hit the chorus.

"Whatcha Got?" from Zanna Don't. I didn't like it when I first listened to it, and I skipped over it for the longest time. And then, inexplicably, I grew to really like it.

I thought I posted this already, but guess not.

Popular from Wicked. But then I finally listened to the whole recording and it grew on me.

Season of Love - Not that I didn't like it when I first heard, more that I got sick of hearing it when I first heard it! Love the song, but too much is too much!

The entire revival CD of Chicago. I had been introduced to the show through the movie and I preferred it over the cast recording, but the more I listened to it I just fell in love with it, and now I barely touch my soundtrack to the movie.

I hated all of RENT at first...it's still not my all-time favorite, but I can stand it.

I used to haate "I'll Cover You". I though it was so tacky and didn't fit in with the rest of the show. Now I think it's wonderful, and I love listening to it.

"Defying Gravity". The first time I heard it was the Tony awards. I decided then and there I never wanted to see "that stupid Wicked show." Then someone got me tickets to the tour for my birthday last year and now I'm a crazy addict.
