I already have plans to be there the day; the week after it closes to do some good ol fashion "dumpster diving"! I figure they are going to throw away alot of good rent memorabilia, so why not take it? I know it's a little nutty, but it would be cool to have some pieces of RENT.

I PROMISE ALL the RENT-heads that I will take 100+ plus photos of the Nederlander Theater ..every inch of that theater ... and everything Rent on that theater including graffitis....when I see the show on June 1st......

I'm not deranged or mentally disturbed... I've just always wanted to try it. I mean... I want to try and do most things once in life and this is one of them. Plus it would be wicked awesome to have a piece of the set.

P.S. Neat.. I started a thread where either people are bickering or hating the poster. I didn't even mean too. I just thought it would be cool.

Didn't Barbara Streisand buy the set from some show she really liked or was in? I know it's not dumpster diving, but thats more of an extreme than I want to do even.

I dont think she's mentally disturbed or out of her mind. Granted, I am not of a fan of her what so ever.. i dont see her as any worse of than me.

Really? I'm deslusional... I'll tell you who's deslusional, Tom Cruise and his wife L. Ron Hubbard. I mean.. this is the furthest I would go for a show... I mean this is the only time I would do it and I would than take the things I have and hawk them. There are rentheads that would for sure buy them. HA! I mean its an easy gauranteed way to make some extra $$.

How much do you think the casts' sh.. would sell for? hahhaha

People do stuff like that a lot, it's not the insane. It's not like the OP's going to literally like crawl around in trash. I think Rent should do the thing Cats did when it closed, where they sold a bunch of set pieces and all that stuff. (At least I think they did that.) Except I don't like the idea of selling it to other rentheads afterward. That's just selfish and taking advantage of the show. (Not to say I wouldn't buy the stuff..)

Dude... I only really posted what I said cause I knew it would start something. I mean I'm more interested in seeing how they take down a set like that. It would be cool to sell things like that though, but thats for another day. And now I'm just stringing it out because I am trying to avoid doing my homework right now but its inevitable.

And you liverpool, I dont even know you. I dont know anyone on here. To me you are just some schlub behind a computer. I'm just bored and this is far more entertaining than Enc-1102.
