Cool! I wonder how it went? I'll bet the Cabinet Battles were a lot of fun for the audience. And I'll bet the cast was super-charged up too. What a great opportunity for those kids!

Wait, these are just HS students who went to see the performance at the Richard Rogers, as a part of the Edu4Ham program. They seem to have done some sort of performance before the show. The picture posted is from the RR theater.
It's not an actual licensed production.

I'm sure most people know that, given the immense media coverage anything this show does gets.

Did the students actually see a complete performance of Hamilton? The article on BWW mentions and shows photos of the students' performances and the talk back with cast members.

Okay wait, I understand it's not a high school performing Hamilton, and that its high schoolers seeing Hamilton. I didn't know how to title the thread so I just put down the first thing which came to mind.

Oh, it's not that serious. It's clarified if you read the article and within the first few posts.
We're not talking about NYTimes editorial standards here.

You can still change the thread title as the op. Just edit your original post title and boom! Why don't you go do that.

Here's an article about how the show went: http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/04/14/theater/hamilton-inspires-students-and-their-takes-on-history.html?_r=1&referer=https://www.google.com/
I would have loved to have been there with such a receptive audience. It must have been fantastic for the performers to get such great reactions to what they were doing! The energy was probably incredible.
