You can apparently pre-order the CD at the box office...so, I assume that means there will be a recording.

If I recall correctly, they were taking Glory Days pre-orders too...though according to Jaystarr, Nick says there may actually be a recording.

I'M INFECTED by the songs in Cry Baby and I can't wait till they record this! Until it is released, I will be filled with MISERY, AGONY, HELPLESSNESS,HOPELESSNESS, HEARTACHE AND WOE. As you can tell, I've got a real SCREW LOOSE for this musical and I will be more than A LITTLE UPSET if they choose not to record it.

Recordings cost money, they are putting s lot of Money into ads now and the show is nowhere near making it's nut.

Is it a true pre-order where they are taking payments? Or is it a "sign up for information on the cast recording"? There's a big difference. If they're actually taking money, then odds are there are definitive plans. If it's just for info, well, no guarantees there.
