tdf offerings for month of July?

I am new to TDF, not sure how it works: are offerings by month or by specific days?

In any case, since I am out of town and I wouldn't be using the membership too ofen, I was wondering what is available for the 2nd weekend in July.

Does anybody know?

Offers come in on a day-by-day basis. Sometimes a show might post two weeks were of shows, a single performance, or may never appear at all. If you have shows in mind, have a backup plan for them, because they may or may not appear on TDF (or even be open) by the time you get here.

Shows don't typically put things up on TDF until around 1-2 weeks before the date, and often it's later (I've gotten things from TDF for the day before or even the day of a performance). You're not going to know what's up for the date you want until at least the end of June.

The calendar currently only goes until June. For the most part, you'll find off-Off-Broadway shows showing up first, then off-Broadway, then most Broadway shows won't be up until very close to the date.

If you're a new TDF member, why don't you just look at the list of current offerings to get a feel for what's there?

I'm guessing he isn't actually a member yet.


TDF isn't good for long range planning. Shows aren't going to put up their tix at an extreme discount that far out -- they don't WANT to use TDF, they'd like to sell at full price first, then for a reasonable discount.

The above posters are right about timing.
