The Palace is one of, if not the, highest stage. Front row will kill your neck.
The best for front row views are:
Schoenfeld
Barrymore
Brooks Atkinson
Majestic

Posted: 5/15/07 at 2:26pmI've sat in the front row at RENT, Aida, and Jersey Boys. I don't remember Aida because I was a lot younger then, Jersey Boys I didn't like the front because I'm pretty short, but I don't mind the nederlander front row at all.

definitely the golden for avenue q! it's great!
and best of luck to the people sitting in the front for spring awakening at the eugene o'neill! when i sat onstage you could just SEE the spit flying out of that boy's mouth all over the people in the front. seriously, it was obscene. i love j.groff.. he is a pheonominal actor, but man can that guy SPIT!
i was ordering tickets to go again and when first row availability came up, i put them back for more like 9th for that reason! crazy!

The Majestic theater---the stage is very low and the first row is back far enough so that you're looking straight ahead---probably the best seats in the house (if you're in center orchestra)
(except when at the phantom gets ticked off and the flames go up---you think your eyebrows are going to burn off) :)
