isn't it a too small a show https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/NATASHA-PIERRE-THE-GREAT-COMET-OF-1812-Headed-to-the-Great-White-Way-20150120

I mean too small for Broadway for a big theatre
Not at all. It's a big cast. It's got big themes. It should be on Broadway. It's great. I wish they could recreate that atmosphere on Broadway.
But you still didn't tell us what is small? Are they using little people?
Circle in the Square did seem to be the house to bring this show to Broadway, since you could keep the Russian supper club vibe, and do a 360 presentation... but with Fun Home going there, that is not going to happen.
It will be interesting to see if they do this as a pure proscenium show.

haterobics: The day after Fun Home loses the Tony to Something Rotten or An American in Paris, it will shutter. So don't worry, this will be the Circle's next tenant.

I don't think Fun Home is the easiest sell for the masses, but it is a pretty special show. I saw it multiple times at The Public.
That said, I didn't see the new staging, and I don't want to praise things I didn't see in their new version. I'm not saying you can't, of course.
