totally OT: So how was everyones first day of school?

I'm in high school and I know most New York schools started today, how was everyones first day?? Mine: kind of boring. All through today- teachers just explaned things, you guys know how that is. In English we're going to read Julius Ceaser (anyone read this?) and we have to act it out!! I was kind of in shock when my teacher said "and all of you are acting it out" =-/

Ohmygod, my first class was a total rip off. This girl whose Mom knows my Mom, totally said that Sutton isn't even that great of a singer. And I told her that she is totally wrong because she has been practically on Broadway forever, and what does this girl know and she said that Gavin is totally gay. And I said that is such a horrible thing to say.

Today I was picked as the Entertainment Editor for my school's newspaper! That means a bunch of Bway stuff is going in for the 1st time. I beat this "over-rated" girl out of the position! Yeah.

Yes, you are *definitely* high school students. Why on earth does it matter whether anybody is gay or not? (And, just for the record, Gavin is.) It in no way affects his performance, or the fact that, gay or straight, you would most likely never sleep with him anyway, so who cares?


(and, muffin, nobody just up and "decides" to be gay. It's not like you wake up one morning and say, "I'm going to have oatmeal and coffee for breakfast, and oh, yeah, I'm going to be gay, too." I mean, really.)
