Donna Murphy missed more than 80 performances if Reidel's numbers are to be believed.
When I saw WT the last week Murphy performed, she told me about the PASSION concert, but it wasn't a for sure. I'm thrilled that it's happening.

According to playbill.com:
"Tickets for the one-night-only concert are priced $150 and $500 and may be purchased by calling (212) 239-6200. VIP tickets are priced $750 and include a cast party; call (800) 996-5433 for VIP tickets only."
Guess I'll be skipping this one.
Passion ran for 332 performances, Murphy only missed one. Wonderful Town was at around 370 performances by Murphy's scheduled out date and she missed around 80. But then, Passion WAS 10 years ago.

I know. I wasn't referring to you, red hot.
Peach pie with whipped cream.
Lets just move on and give Donna another chance! How about that? Why not? Is anyone here going to see this concert on October 20th?
It's funny because I really wanted to see Linda perform the role and Donna actually happened to be in that night. It's not like I had other chances to see it because I live in Wash, DC.
haha Joeyjoe, you're icon is funny. Yeah, Donna Murphy is awesome... anyway! My Lisa site is under it's correct name now...

When DM appeared in PASSION ten years ago, she was an unknown who made her breakthrough in a Sondheim show. Now, she has a cachet as a leading lady within the Broadway community (if not for audiences). Perhaps this accounts for her absences. Judging from the buzz in theatrical circles, her "recovery" seems to depend on the expertise of a good analyst.
