Thinking of taking a 14 year old girl. What would this production be rated? How appropriate is it for a young teenager?

It'd definitely be rated R.
Spoilers follow...there are a LOT of f-bombs, a suicide attempt, shades of incest, etc.

Yeah, R. I saw it again for the 6th time today and while they've toned down the language a bit it's still very heavy on the F word, and a lot of use of the C word. Add in the

suicide attempt etc, I wouldn't suggest it for kids.

He doesn't even take his shirt off ONCE! Not even lifting it up just ever so slightly... That's all I want. Just a peek.
BUT I will say that for the first week of the show he was wearing this big hoodie for the first half of the show until he finally took it off and was just in a T-Shirt and they had the good sense to change it and get rid of the hoodie all together so he's just in the T. AND he's all tatted up now which is NICE. I hope the reviews are decent for it, I really do. I mean I plan on seeing it at the very least another 15-20 times before it closes either way, though.

a bad NY Times review should produce lots of discounts.
Though Brantley loves stars and O'Byrne (even though he only has like 7 lines)
