I can't believe I'm going to dare say this, but Carolee Carmello singing 'Don't Cry For Me, Argentina' would be thrilling, gorgeous and haunting.

Carolee is too old for EVITA, sadly. I would kill to hear her sing that score, though.

So, would you rather she retire from the theatre? I don't think so! She would be amazing in the role and I completely believe she can handle it. Are you surprised she got sick in Gypsy? It almost killed Merman's vocal chords...it ain't an easy part.
