what are the odds this show tours? I think it would do well but just needs a name attached. the show is so good more people deserve to see it!

They may try to tour it as I’m sure its success has gone to their heads, but I wouldn’t expect it to be something the touring circuit wants to see. More likely it will be on regional seasons as soon as possible.

Yeah, it was already available for regional/community theatre licensing for years before it came to Broadway. The success of the Broadway show will likely inspire more local groups to do the show.

Somewhere around the odds Mamma Mia sweeps the Tonys next year.

I think it’s unlikely but they definitely got a lot of butts in seats during the Spring Road Conference and the show does have a booking office attached. I am sure the idea is being floated internally, but those conversations still happen for most Broadway plays already and it’s no secret very few actually make it out of NYC.

Why does everything need to tour? From Oh Mary! to this, I understand wanting other audiences to see shows. But sometimes it's enough just being on Broadway, and then being licensed for regional/school productions. Leave some shows for their Broadway run. I am aware this person just asked about JPITV, just adding my two cents in general.

Even if it doesn't tour I'm sure there will be other opportunities for you to be in it. Don't give up!
