SO excited here. But the tv in my dorm room isn't working, so hopefully it will be by later.
Oo Kim, thanks for the reminder.
"Shut up, Patti LuPone!"
I can't wait!
BTW, iluvtheatertrash, what show did you end up seeing when you came to New York?

Well, I'm from Long Island, but go to Albright College in Reading, PA. So over break I wanted to see a bunch. Saw:
-FIDDLER (second time) with Harvey
-MAMMA MIA! (for Carolee)
-GEM OF THE OCEAN
-DAME EDNA
OMG that was a HILARIOUS episode. Jack telling off Patti, picking her off the floor, jack trying to cut her hair, and jack and will singing with her was great (Eric McCormick has a great voice). Also that thing about "I have hair from blah, blah blah, and Idina Menzel" was great too. I NEED this episode on dvd.
ahhh that was so great!!! The singing at the end gave me chills! I'm still upset about Will and Vince breaking up though Oh well, Patti LuPone helps ease the pain.

The singing was *such* a tease.
SHUT YOUR BRASSY MAGNIFICENT MOUTH!....Now Back off Buenos Aires!
Did I miss something with Will and Vince? I did not know they broke up. Was there an episode or are they just saying it now. Not enough of Lupone and too much Goldblum!!!!!!!!
Yeah Will and Vince broke up in the last new episode...which was like a month ago. It was one of the most depressing scenes I have ever seen on a sitcom. I loved Vince

Vince got fired from the police force (for getting caught trying on gloves when he should have been apprehending a perp),then he got a job at a store, snd got fired again - for trying on gloves! After that he got very depressed and mopey and was just hanging around the apartment all day in his bathrobe. Then, at a dinner with Will's boss (Lily Tomlin) where will was made a parnet, Vince was really needy and whiney. This lead to a mutual break up.

Wow, those few Lupone scenes made me hit the instant-replay button on my Tivo too many times to count. "Shut up, Patti LU-Pone!"...The expression on Sean's face, and the way he was looking down when he said it, you know he was having a hard time not busting out laughing.
And here's an admission I'm making and hoping I don't get stoned by the fervent BWW members...I don't own the Evita w/ Lupone recording. After seeing Seth Deconstruct her Tony Awards appearance numerous times, and now seeing her on W&G..which of course was a total chills moment, I'm going to have to order it. (But damn, $33 on Amazon!)...
Any recommendations as the best CD (cast recording or otherwise) to get started with Lupone?
Thanks!

"My head was practically in your lap, do I get the part?"-Patti LuPone
LuvUrBatBoy,
I'm shocked. Shocked and appalled.
The line is 'Stand back, Buenos Aires.'

It was hilarious. Jack's little fit to her was great. I particularly liked the playout with them around the piano. The look on Jack's face as he came at her with the scissors was priceless. But please - don't keep Jeff Goldblum as a main character. Tres scary!
