How is this selling? We've been debating tickets but haven't heard much buzz other than McDonald's involvement. Now that Wolfe is returning we pray his splats with movies have not influenced his theatrical direction.
How hot is the ticket for those who follow the box office?

Having seen this in London I bet it sells out after word of mouth and reviews take hold. It may suffer some in the winter but come back strong in the spring for Tonys.

They are mixed. Yes, really wanted to see a great black-centered show. We were wary after the undercooked Chicken & Biscuits but hopeful considering the performers in choosing to do it. Unfortunately this was not for us either but listed many of its positive qualities. That's fair and also unfortunate, for us only. It's an opinion. Nothing was "pre-conceived' or "trashed" nor are we the only people who feel this way according

The critics are mixed like our group.
We hoped for more and didn't care for it, for what it is. It’s fine. With such a great cast, suprising the material and production was just okay.

These reviews are very kind.
Our group found this basic rom com writing. The writing and direction are elevated significantly by the performances. This will play well in community, small regional and college learning theaters showcasing strong black performers. We were surprised this was considered good enough for production from MCC.
Young and cast are doing great work. The writing is & ideas have been done before including the idea of

It's an adaptation of the 2016 Genovese Itallian comedy-drama film "Perfect Strangers".
(During a dinner party friends place their cell phones on a table and agree to make all texts and calls public in an attempt to prove they have nothing to hide.)
New? Not so much. Very much an adaptation of the film with new title.
The cast names will sell this out before it starts in Oct.

how far out from center is too far for projections or mostly center? Like dancing ensemble from illinoise center (but further back) - wide wise?
looking at similiar . Far back further out in orchestra or rear mezz more center .
