Oh, Jesus. Barbra Streisand won't Destroy GYPSY  Oct 29 2015, 01:23:39 PM

I have never understood the hate for this project.

She is too old. She is BARBRA STREISAND. And if you don't want to see it, don't see it. It's not as if this is a project that would go ahead with someone else.

Dada Woof Papa Hot previews  Oct 25 2015, 11:39:47 AM

I really, really, really adored it, but in hindsight it is REALLY whitebread.

Jason Danieley in CHICAGO  Oct 15 2015, 02:47:25 PM

I was not a super fan of Ms. McLeod when I saw her, though she was ok. The best Velma I've ever seen was Nancy Lemenager, who did it for about 3 minutes.

Jean Smart Returning To Broadway?!?!?!?!?!?  Oct 12 2015, 04:07:29 PM

I think she is one of our best actors. And, TV aside, has not gotten her due in any other medium.

SYLVIA Previews  Oct 11 2015, 02:50:05 PM

I didn't find broderick terribly lifeless. Schticky, yes. But the point of the play is kind of that Greg has checked out.

The Christians @ Playwright's Horizons  Aug 30 2015, 05:41:07 PM

Whats the running time?

FUNNY GIRL and GYPSY london overlap  Aug 7 2015, 07:16:45 PM
Will there be any overlap between Funny Girl and Gypsy in London where people could see both on one weeklong trip?
MAME - Broadway Revival  Aug 4 2015, 04:06:16 PM
Really, as much as I want to love it because the score and orchestrations are so thrilling....the show itself is a slog and a half. There are holes everywhere.
Matthew Broderick in Sylvia  Jul 28 2015, 05:03:16 PM

I will always love Matthew Broderick for his film work, BRIGHTON BEACH, and HOW TO SUCCEED. I didn't think he was that great in IT'S ONLY A PLAY, but I adored him in NICE WORK. His underplaying was, for me, what really made Judy Kaye and McGrath work, but I've never found him as abysmal as some people here have. Am I the only one?

Muny's 'Into the Woods' has no Cinderella.  May 12 2015, 04:19:03 PM

They had hired someone who became unavailable.

Broadway and UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT  Mar 9 2015, 07:46:46 PM
firebolts, thats a part of the gag that Jane Krakowski's character is the whitest of whitebread people.
Paint Your Wagon--TDF?  Mar 5 2015, 11:33:03 PM
Might this show up?
JOHN AND JEN rush  Feb 28 2015, 09:58:08 PM
How early would a friend and I have to get to the hour before rush for the Keen Co's John and Jen?
Chita's standby??  Feb 25 2015, 03:40:03 PM
That situation with Burnett was slightly different because I don't think she was the standby, I think Gifford played 1 scheduled performance a week. I believe they had a separate standby.
Front row at the Cort....  Feb 25 2015, 11:50:06 AM
Front row is high as in limited craning?
Front row at the Cort....  Feb 24 2015, 10:35:27 PM
Is it too close? I have some neck issues and I don't want to have to crane....
Lesley Ann Warren on Broadway?  Jan 23 2015, 09:37:39 AM
Really, Claudia? I think she was supposed to do the tour years ago. I'd be thrilled to see her Roxie (really, actually it would be an event for me) but I somehow doubt it will ever take place.
Carole Shelley in Gentleman's Guide  Jan 6 2015, 06:30:07 PM
Did Carole Shelley leave permanently? She is no longer on the playbill vault listing, but she is on the website, and I'd like to see her.
Awkward Side Show interview  Nov 29 2014, 11:39:48 PM
All Erin was doing is stating a fact. She was attached for a long while before Emily Padgett was.
