re: First show you saw alone..

Aida. But I've seen many shows alone since then. I like seeing shows alone because I don't have to worry about anyone else liking the show or stuff like that... but I also dislike seeing a show alone because I love discussing the show over drinks or dinner afterwards.

I believe you're talking about Metamorphoses and not Metamorphosis?
re: Internships & Stuff

The New Vic definitely does interviews. Also, the New Vic is one of the few intern/apprentice programs that delegate certain apprenticeships for high school students. I know at least during some semesters, they'll say they only want a high school student for a certain apprenticeship. Does that help any?

What was the song Julia sang / what is it from? It was incredibly beautiful...

The whole thing was incredibly beautiful. I cried like a baby :/

I know all of the neat stuff tends to go pretty early on in the day... so what time is everyone planning on getting there?

Think they'll be doing the lotto for this performance?

I'd assume so...but ya never know!

I didn't check for the matinee, but it was definitely up yesterday, for the night show.
re: If You Could Go Out To Dinner With One Broadway Star....

Sutton Foster.

And maybe Matthew Morrison, as I was wowed by him in The Light in the Piazza last night...

re: Spamalot, Bee, DRS, or Piazza....what recording do you most listen to
 Jun 4 2005, 02:20:03 PM
Spamalot comes in first... followed by Bee. I really don't like the DRS recording, even though I LOVED it in the theatre.

I'm seeing Piazza tonight, and I've held off from listening to the cast recording until then. So I'll let you know if it changes.

Although, I have to admit, for me, the Little Women recording comes above all of the best musical nominees!

re: what was your first broadway experience?
 Jun 1 2005, 03:23:55 PM
A touring production of "Grease" in '94. First show actually on Broadway was RENT, in 2001.

Moving to the city was the best thing I've ever done for my theatre addiction.

re: i heard that little women tour offers have gone out..anyone know?
 May 24 2005, 11:05:40 AM
After the final show on Sunday, I overheard someone asking Sutton if she'd be going on tour... she said no. As did Megan.

Not sure about anyone else.
