I had no idea he was responsible for the orchestrations for Music and the Mirror.

Jessica Sheridan was the Dolly understudy in the recent revival's touring production.  She went on a few times.  There are audios of her performance on YouTube.  She sounds excellent.

Does anyone know if Casey Garvin was there?

I also have a ticket for August 16th which I purchased at the box office last week. 

He was out both times I saw the show within the first eight months of opening. It would be nice to see his performance live, but not sure if I'd do it.

I wish I could remember the name of the actor replacing John Rapson.  He posted on IG last night about returning to Ragtime.

Anyone know what happened to Wallace Smith?  He rejoined the Broadway company last night, but he's no longer listed on their website. Ebrin Stanley is listed as Mulligan/Madison.

James T. Lane is going into Ain't Too Proud at The Muny. Wonder if he'll return to Chicago.

There are still plenty of seats for the closing performance. There was a 30% discount floating around up until yesterday. Now I can't find that particular advertisement.

This closing took me by surprise. I already had plans to see Chess again before this was posted.

Have they announced a Che for Evita? Perhaps a role for Nicholas Christopher?

I was surprised to see that the national tour of MJ the musical closed yesterday. I don't remember seeing a notice posted.

Nice to see Broadway veterans being cast.  I haven't heard anything about Nik Walker's performance yet.

I saw Marcus John's first performance as a Hamilton understudy with the tour in 2022 or 23.  He was very good.  I'm just sorry that Edred Utomi wasn't given a longer stint on Broadway.  Out of all of the Hamilton's I've seen since the show first opened, Edred is my favorite.  I saw him for the first time in DC in 2018.

I'm surprised by Pinkham's nomination. His performance annoyed the hell out of me.

Wow, that was stunning! Sorry it was cut. 

The strange thing is, I didn't hear anything about her performance per se. Also never heard what happened about the performance she missed Act One of. 

I really enjoyed the tour when I saw it last year in DC. Thinking of seeing it again in Baltimore.

Personally I liked its placement better in the first act (OBC).  It's very anti-climatic in its present form.  I've never liked Svetlana singing it.  I forgot that it was in act 2 of the 1990 1st national tour (which is probably my favorite production out of all the iterations of Chess that I've seen).

This recording is so vibrant!  In comparison, the Ragtime recording is kind of muted (IMO).  Don't know how else to explain it.
