I went to see Moulin Rouge on the 14th. The front mezz seat I paid $135 for is going for $500 now.

I went to see the Broadway production for the first time on Friday evening (8/14). I had seen the touring company numerous times, but nothing could have prepared me for this show on Broadway!! I absolutely loved it! I'm kicking myself for waiting this long to see it as I now want to see it again. Not going to happen as I live in DC. Andre Ward (Toulouse-Lautrec) was the only one who kind of disappointed me. My favorite Toulouse-Lautrec is Nick Rashad Burroughs. That being said, the entire cas...

That's too bad about the pro shot. I'm so glad I attended on Sunday. Ragtime is my favorite show, so I would not have missed the closing performance. What an emotional afternoon. Joshua got choked up when he went to sing, "I see his face" at the very end of the show. I saw this revival 4 times and always caught something new with each viewing. Caissie, Joshua, Brandon and Nichelle all grew in their roles throughout the run. I actually preferred Ben Davis as Father.

I'll be there! I attended the final performance of both the original production and revival. Couldn't miss out on the trifecta!

Is the book from the recent revival the licensed version of this show?

The one show that should have had a cast recording. I'm lucky to have seen the production 4 times during its short run. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was tempted to make a trip to see the production in Montreal.

I've seen the tour numerous times and plan on seeing the Broadway production for the first time on 8/14.

A friend of mine wanted me to go with her, but I have no desire to ever see Les Miserables again. I'll admit the clip from the Tonight Show gave me chills. Since when has Fantine been added to "One Day More"?

I don't particularly care of J. Viscaino. Watching him interview Krysta was kind of uncomfortable to watch. Not because of her, but because of him.

I got the impression from her post that she's injured.

Looks like Samantha's return as Nini was short-lived. She posted on IG that she's hanging up her Nini's boots. I wonder if Robyn Hurder will come back or if they'll use the understudies.

Darius Wright made his Rum Tug Tugger debut this afternoon. Not sure if he's going on tonight.

I had no idea he was responsible for the orchestrations for Music and the Mirror.

Jessica Sheridan was the Dolly understudy in the recent revival's touring production. She went on a few times. There are audios of her performance on YouTube. She sounds excellent.

Does anyone know if Casey Garvin was there?

I also have a ticket for August 16th which I purchased at the box office last week.

He was out both times I saw the show within the first eight months of opening. It would be nice to see his performance live, but not sure if I'd do it.
