Hey folks, you have till the end of August to catch Katerina in Funny Girl. I am telling you this is a performance worth seeing. Fabulous. Other cast changes to take place as well. I believe Texas is the last stop for the current cast as it is now.

Nothing is on their socials. How do you know this?
We saw the show again on its last weekend in Costa Mesa. My friend has played with one of the touring musicians in the past. We got go hang out after and meet Melissa and Katerina. Both extremely friendly and down to earth. Katerina speaks Spanish ( a Cubana) so we chatted for a while. Its not a secret. If you check out the understudy’s Instagram, I believe her name is Hannah, you’ll see some clues as to where the casting is going.
Also.. the the tour goes into a one-month layoff after Texas. Then the rest of the run is mostly split weeks.
Makes sense. When they start again in September it will be a year.
She is so talented. Heard she got a record deal.
Does Katerina do all 8 performances, or does she have a scheduled evening off? I'd like to see her when the tour arrives in DC soon.

Usually the standby, Hannah, goes on for Thursday performances. :)
Really surprised we didn’t get this here in Chicago on the first year.

Are you getting it at all? I thought this was closing in April. Unless they’re gonna announce more cities.
Nothing on this upcoming season. So strange.

Yes. as of now, it closes in April. With all the cities are already announced. Just check out the website.
If I were a betting man, I’d guess the show will make its way to Chicagos Cadillac Palace Theatre from November 5th through the 10th.

Katerina leaves in August. It was mentioned in the San Francisco press conference. Some ensemble members have already made exits. Hannah has posted about fittings and she has obviously had a new photo shoot. She hasn't said it.. but she would be the obvious choice. It is a year. This is what happens. You will see a lot of understudies and swings take a step up the ladder.

Where does Katerina say she's leaving in August? Was that on a livestream or something? No need to be snotty with your "duh". There's someone on the Boleyn tour of Six whose been there for over a year. Yes I believe they're leaving soon but it's over that mark, so stop being so snobby

So sorry. That was snobby. I apologize. Just message her and ask her on her social. They are all friendly. And Katerina talking was in the stories of the theater in San Francisco.

To be honest my reaction wasn't the best either- I'M sorry! Oh that would explain why I didn't see it- that was most likely a takeover and I don't follow the theaters or anything

People not knowing when to put the cap on a response so it’s a back and forth for several threads as if it’s their personal text box. You apologized now move on. No need to keep trying to explain yourself. Geez.
