So no cast album then. Ughhhh. 

I would’ve moved heaven and earth to see this with a good, exciting, age appropriate cast, but this is not it. 

I suspect that those recording sessions were just for promos, but it’s hard to tell

I’d even be more than happy for a live recording, to distinguish it more from the OBCR. I’d bet that the original recording was very expensive to produce, since it was overseen by The Beatles’ George Martin.

My hope for that recoding is really starting to dwindle. 

Still hoping that Tommy will release a cast recording before they close, but it’s not looking good with no announcement during Tonys season…

I’ve seen some folks on Reddit claim that the TOMMY cast has already recorded, but I can’t imagine why on earth they haven’t announced the release yet. Seems like now would be the time to do it?

The holdup on the cast album announcement worries me. I would’ve thought a new recording would be a no-brainer, since there’s only one existing album
