Caught the matinee today ( from the front row!) based on the incredible recommendations on this board, and I absolutely adored this show!
I only wish there were more songs in the second half, but I could have sat there rapt for another 3 hours at least!
Side note: it's fun to realize that Kendall Roy and his beleaguered assistant Jess are both currently dazzling on the Great White Way!

I really wish that we had pro-shots of the original sets/staging for Napier’s 4 massive achievements:
Cats, Les Mis, Sunset and even Starlight Express; if only to immortalize those remarkable designs.
The set in the CATS recording pales in comparison to Napier’s original

I saw the original production during the LaJolla tryout, and it blew my young mind apart just as I was leaving to start my BFA in theater.
Next month I’m taking my kids (15 & 12) to see the show their dad won’t shut up about all these years later.
