alternates on recordings instead of the main actor  May 13 2012, 11:39:55 PM
Any insight into the OLC of The Secret Garden, and why Peter Polycarpou didn't record the role of Neville? (Alastair Harvey did it in his place).

Patrick R. Brown opens as Scar in The Lion King on Broadway, January 16 2012  Jan 18 2012, 01:15:16 PM
Thank you to all the kind folks who have shown their support! During this visit to NYC I've had nothing but positive responses to this news (except for newintown.)

Oh...and other people ARE talking about it, newintown, you sweet guy! Love and smiles to ya. We should have a coffee before I leave NYC in March. I'll invite Patrick if you like?

Wow, the days must be long when you live like you do.

It's my friend's Broadway debut in the principal (top billing, more stage time than any other character) role which has been played by maybe five or six other actors in New York.

Maybe, just maybe, he really deserves to have this recognised.
MAYBE he's a terrific guy (I can tell you, he is).

Maybe you are as well.

Hey everyone!

Let me welcome the amazing Patrick R. Brown on his Broadway debut as Scar in Disney's The Lion King, 2pm today at the Minskoff.

Y'all now have a new reason to see the show. This cat is FIERCE. Get there over the next year (or beyond!) to see what this epic Canadian actor can do.

Happy MLK day

LOLOLOLOL.

I guess she DOES die every night. So of course she can't come out. She's...dead.

Where are you watching the Tonys?  Jun 3 2010, 07:20:07 PM
I live in Singapore and so I can't actually watch it on TV since it's not broadcast.

But if LizzieCurry were to invite me to her party, I would fly over for that.

Lol.

Billy Elliot student rush  May 31 2010, 03:53:47 PM
I agree...this one can be pretty hard to score.

The box office gentleman told me on a Friday to try again on a Tuesday - which I did, but they were not selling any 41.50 seats for that day, however he was able to sell me one 41.50 seat for the next day's matinee.

I took it, and I was in the back right corner of the building. Still alright really, since at that incline a short arse like me can see over everyone's heads.

Amazing the number of tourists at this show and a

I went last night and there were a couple of seats remaining. Easy as pie for one of the best front row experiences you could hope for.

Rush/Lotto Questions  May 13 2010, 01:54:38 AM
Hey there!

Sure thing, I'll try to answer some of these for you.

American Idiot - Sign up for lotter 2 hours before the show, and names are drawn 1.5 hours before the show. Seats are in the front row and quite amazing. I was centre. 27 bucks if you win, and if you don't win, they give you a special deal on other seats.
Avenue Q - Not sure about this one sorry!
A Behanding In Spokane - All day rush from 10am, for 26.50. My seat was up in the mid mezz but the ushers ver

Million Dollar Quartet lottery?  May 5 2010, 01:31:08 PM
Hey there,

I went this Saturday night just gone and everyone who entered got in easily, and there were tickets to spare.

Seems pretty easy to get in...I was the only person there under 45 I reckon.

All the best!
