Hey everyone, hope you're all enjoying the beautiful summer weather!
So I'm curious, where are you all watching the Tonys this year? Last year I went to the Times Square viewing but I kinda want to do something different this year.
Has anyone heard anything about the BroadwaySpace party with the Hair cast? Sounds like it'll be fun, any of you thinking of going to that?

I heard that party is expensive...
Living on the west coast limits my options. So I'm guessing I'll be at home. I don't have a lot of friends that are into Broadway, so I don't think there will be much of a party. Just my girlfriend and I

It's actually not that expensive! I think it's like $25 which includes unlimited food and drinks, so it sounds pretty worth it to me! I will definitely be there...plus I am a huge HAIR fan, so meeting Annaleigh Ashford and Kyle Riabko is enough for me!
Just got my ticket to the BroadwaySpace party, so I'll see you there (when Memphis wins best musical )!
Where will I be watching? Well ...
My plan is to go to bed early that night, because I am on an airplane very early the next morning, heading to Las Vegas. I will record the show onto a DVD and watch it on the airplane the next day!
Michelle616- You already got your ticket, I didn't know we could get them ahead of time, where'd you get it?
And I totally agree with you Zeppo, getting to watch the Tony's with them would be pretty sweet!
I'm contemplating not watching this year. I've paid very little attention to the current Broadway season, and watching the Tony awards involves a lot of staying up late, napping, and/or getting up at 4am. I might just do the red carpet and the technical awards, then go to bed. I can always catch up on performances on the ebuTuoY later in the week!
But if I do watch this year, then I will watch it from where I always do: sat in front of my PC, hoping TVU Player is going to work this year. XD
I'll be visiting my sister in Charlotte, NC so we hope to go watch on a big screen at the McGlohon Theatre. It's a free event with snacks and a cash bar. If there's any BWW'ers in Charlotte, let me know.
I'm having a Tony party at my apartment, and none of you are invited. It'll be glorious!
Most likely at home.
We need a sticky at the top of the board thoroughly explaining the fact that the word "Tonys" does not need an apostrophe.
My bad CATS, and I'm usually a stickler for grammar, whoops

I'll be in my pajamas in front of the TV with a split of champagne and some caviar. I'll toast Angela when she wins again.
I don't like distractions while watching the awards so I will be on my couch with snacks and a bottle of wine enjoying it by myself. All of my friends know not to call me while the awards are on!
I'll probably just TiVo it and watch it the next day. I have to be at the office excruciatingly early the next morning so I need my sleep. Plus I don't have too many friends that are into theater so I usually end up watching it by myself anyways.
I'll be watching from the first mezz at Radio City!
WAT, I can't tell you how jealous I am, have a great time!
I'm going to the BroadwaySpace party too. I didn't wanna go alone so I'm dragging two of my friends with me haha, but I'm sure it'll be fun. I can't wait to meet some of you there, now I need to decide what to wear!
I will be hosting a small party at my house (Louisville, KY). Gonna have a small assortment of party munchies, and a huge assortment of booze.
Don't think it is going to be a great show this year, but what the hell, it's all we got!

Alone in my room, screaming at the TV, catting it up here & Facebook.
Having a Tony Party at home with my grandma.
I live in Singapore and so I can't actually watch it on TV since it's not broadcast.
But if LizzieCurry were to invite me to her party, I would fly over for that.
Lol.
Not watching it at all. The show really bores me to tears. I'll be out anyway.
the tony awards is always the weekend of my birthday. the only birthday present i ask for every year is to have the upstairs big screen TV to watch the awards from start to finish, without any interruptions. And no one from my non-Broadway loving family is allowed to make any rude comments about any of the stars or performances! Since my bro and my dad hog the TV most of the time watching sports, it's a great night. This year my other Broadway loving friend will be joining me :)
