Re: Unpopular Opinions  Sep 22 2009, 10:04:07 AM
I detest Sutton Foster, and if she's in a show, it will turn me off of the show until she leaves.

Little Women may not have worked on stage, but the score has some gems. "Some Things are Meant to Be," "Here Alone" and "Days of Plenty" come to mind. Notice I did not mention "Astonishing."

Kristin Chenoweth bugs the hell out of me.

I have not given up hope for a decent musical adaption of Gone With the Wind.

re: Awkward young male characters or monologues?  Sep 22 2009, 09:57:34 AM
Jason's "letter"/ monoluge from Rabbit Hole comes to mind.

Not a bad list. I may spring for the table, especially if Bernadette and Alice Riply are in the same block. I am also hoping Aaron Tveit, Michael Cerveris, and Brian Stokes Mitchell sign on.

So, ByeByeBaby, when Matthew Broderick dies, I guess you'll lose respect for anyone who sings at his memorial too?

re: John Lloyd Young to Return to Jersey Boys?  Jun 27 2009, 01:57:22 AM
I think it would be great if he came back to Jersey Boys.

Hell, Yul Brynner played the King of Siam for how long?
