Who's taking Leading Actress in a Musical this year?

They're keeping this super tight to their chest if it's actually happening. All the people who tend to know about things have heard nothing about this coming back (in my experience). Without an act

It's Caissie

Who is running the best Tony campaign?

The amount and diversity of events that various combinations of Ragtime's cast has been featured in during the past few months has been quite impressive. LCT isn't playing around.

No way they shouted out LBRR's awful set...

The wording definitely implies they couldn't get the whole OBC. Wonder who's not showing up.

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/10/26

It's not by a super alarming amount, but it's still strange that a show that got so many nominations, including in the very competitive Revival of a Play category, actually fell by over $60K. Did Roundabout have some sort of special night(s) this past week that had a sizeable chunk of comps?

Same director and writers as Gutenberg, maybe they'll throw a curly wig and fake mustache on Andrew Rannells?

GIANT Reviews

Dahl burrowing in, lashing out, and doubling down when challenged really strikes me as similar to modern writers like JK Rowling and Graham Linehan, who have devolved from creatives into full-time hatemongers addicted to social media. Roald Dahl would probably have tens of thousands of tweets arguing with random people on the internet if he were alive today.

It's somewhat unfortunate that this play really has nothing interesting to say about Israel/Palestine. It's not the point

I don't think it needs Score or Director to win Best Musical. It would probably need either featured actor/actress as well as the techs to win. My feeling is this is going to be a split the baby year, where they award multiple productions awards. If it wins Directo

I agree, I thought she was really overdoing it. I actually liked Isabella McCalla the most of the featured actresses, her act 2 number was phenomenal.

Andre de Shields getting a Tony for THAT performance would be something, alright... I feel like someone else will emerge but it's so hard to say who.

Next to Normal Broadway Transfer Fall 2026

We would need a new Henry as well, unless Jack Ofrecio's accent work has gotten exponentially better. Can I manifest Gaten Matarazzo?

Oh man, I wish this was it... I'll stop being cute. I heard they were interested in Jasmine Amy Rogers. No idea how true it is or if anything has changed since then.

No chance. She burned a lot of bridges with her backstage antics and drug problems during Marjorie.
