50th Anniversary Revival of A CHORUS LINE still on track for 202
 Jul 6 2025, 06:24:40 PM

I've probably said this in every thread mentioning Show Boat ever, so apologies, but I am dying for a big, lush LCT revival starring Amber Gray. She is the only choice in my mind for Julie.

Anyone seeing Montego as Rose?

Flippantly rude? Gaslighting? I am begging you to show me where either of those things happened from me, babe. Words mean things!

Audra had great reviews too, but when people decimated her performance on here nobody came along and posted her review clippings lmao. What was the point of that? Opinions are opinions.

And I am so aware that this is an unpopular opinion, but I will never see what those critics (or other fans) see in Lea Salonga. She does Kristin Davis on Sex and the City level acting at best, in my opinion. Her performance in Once On This Island not only shouldn't have happ

It was Rose by ways of Disney princess.

Bell-clear vocals, but no desperation or soul.
"

Spot on. And true to all her work, in my opinion.

AUDRA GYPSY Reviews

And how about 18 times in 205 performances? Y'all are so damn weird lol. If we're going to pull up numbers let's pull them all up.

It's really hard for me to believe that the way she's singing the score is not causing vocal damage.

Flagrant for flagrants sake. Ridiculous.

I wouldn't worry about it closing, I'm planning to chain myself to the theatre so they can't load out.

Congrats! You just completed the first step of the immersive Phantom experience. You'll receive your next clue at the optometrist.

I don't know how this is going to work or how the tracks are being split, but if Anna Zavelson isn't Christine I don't want it!*

*Dramatics, of course. But she would be lovely.

I think the pink only doesn't work because of the red, and vice-versa.

Boop Closing July 13

One of the most fun times I've ever had in the theatre - once in Chicago, twice on Broadway, and hopefully one or two more times for my memories. Such a special show.

She actually just recently said she has been thinking about performing live again. In that same interview though, she asks herself why she would do that.

I'm still hoping we get Roz Focker back.

I mean, are we going to pretend like the nosebleeds at Funny Girl weren't $4,567? It IS a steal for a Lea Michele show. Those seats should be $35 (and even that's a little much imo.) But we have to live in the reality of the word, girl.
